This lockdown 3.0 has hit us all a little differently, we never expected to be here, we hoped we would be back to some sort of normality by now.
Eat out to help out seems like a myth, the novelty of the first Lockdown has well and truly worn off, the government is taking more U-turns than a faulty sat-nav and right now we’re all just left wondering, when will this end?
The first lockdown was tough, but we had simple things like the weather to keep up going and bring up our spirits even in the darkest of hours. But now a long winter is upon us, we are all very aware that this is the S.A.D season.
Here at Sandinista, our staff’s mental health and well being has always been key to us, we’ve held fundraisers, climbed mountains and more in support of charities that mean a lot to us, such as CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably.
No doubt and unquestionable that a lot of people are suffering right now.
The reason I am writing this, from all of us at Sandinista LTD (Sandinista, Smokestack & Blind Tyger) is to say reach out.
Reach out to friends, family, strangers, whoever you need to right now. It is not a weakness to say you need a shoulder to cry on or a hand to reach out to you. In fact, it’s brave. We have all been put in undescribable situations, although we may be going through different things and circumstances, we are all together in this.
